Dr. Andrew J. Zakarian received his dental education at New York University - College of Dentistry and did research and advanced treatment work in the Department of Periodontology at Columbia University in New York City. In addition, Dr. Zakarian has a Masters degree in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Zakarian has taught residency programs and has been practicing general dentistry since 1984 in Manhattan, New York and since 1999 in San Diego, California. Besides having a passion for dentistry, he is an avid horseman and can also often be found riding long-distance on his bicycle.
